This Privacy Policy explains how the NiyamOne Audit mobile application and the NiyamOne Audit web portal (together, "the App") collect, use, store and share information. It applies to all users of the App. The App is an enterprise audit and compliance tool provided to organisations under contract; user accounts are created by the customer organisation’s administrators, not by end users.
1. Information we collect
Account information (required): email address and user ID assigned by your organisation. These are used to sign you in and to link audit work to you.
Location (required for audits): precise device location captured when you record audit evidence, so that findings are tied to the audited site.
Photos (optional): photographs you take or choose to attach as audit evidence.
Files and documents (optional): documents you choose to upload (for example licence or compliance documents).
Audit content you create: answers, remarks, scores and other user-generated content entered while performing audits.
We do not collect your name, home address, phone number, contacts, calendar, SMS, call logs, advertising ID or device identifiers, and we do not use analytics or advertising SDKs. The App does not use crash-reporting services.
2. How we use information
Information is used only for App functionality and account management: authenticating you, performing and storing audits, generating reports for your organisation, and keeping your organisation’s compliance records. We do not use your information for advertising or marketing and we do not sell it.
3. Sharing
Your information is shared only with the customer organisation that provisioned your account (your employer or principal), which is the controller of the audit data, and with the cloud infrastructure providers that host the App on our behalf. We do not share data with any other third party except where required by law.
4. Security
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Session credentials on the device are stored in the platform’s secure storage. Access to audit data is restricted by role and location within your organisation.
5. Retention and deletion
Audit records are retained for as long as required by the customer organisation’s compliance obligations. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, contact your organisation’s administrator or email kumar@precisedatasolutions.com with the subject "NiyamOne Audit data request". Deleting or deactivating your account removes your ability to sign in; audit records already submitted remain part of the organisation’s compliance history.
6. Permissions used by the Android app
Camera (evidence photos), Location (site-tagged evidence), Microphone (optional voice-to-text for remarks; audio is processed on the device and not stored), Internet.
7. Children
The App is intended for business users aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date below indicates the latest revision.
